The industry's answer to field attendance has been either a rusting biometric box by the gate or an honour-system spreadsheet. We think the answer is proof: a punch verified against a real place, a task closed with real evidence, a score a worker can read and agree with.

Q-01Does it work without internet on site?
Yes. A punch made with no signal is saved on the phone with its time and location, and queued. When the connection returns it syncs exactly once — even if the app was closed in between. Basements, warehouses and remote sites don't lose a day's record.
Q-02What happens when GPS is weak or wrong?
Inside the work zone auto-approves; clearly outside is flagged. When the signal is too uncertain to tell, the punch goes to a manager's review queue with the evidence attached — it is never auto-rejected. A weak signal never docks a worker's pay. Mock-location apps are detected and flagged.
Q-03Who can see our team's data?
Only your organisation. Every table is isolated with row-level security, and five roles — owner to employee — are enforced on the server, not just hidden in the app. Salaries are owner-only. Every change goes into an append-only audit log. We don't sell data or use it for advertising. Details are in our privacy policy.
Q-04How does Sentrifiq fit with India's DPDP Act, 2023?
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, your organisation decides why employee data is collected; Sentrifiq processes it on your behalf for attendance, tasks and payroll. Location and camera access are asked for on the phone and can be withdrawn. Workers can request access, correction or deletion, and we have a named Privacy policy Pricing grievance contact.
Q-05How long does setup take?
Small teams are usually punching the same day: draw your work zones on a map, add members by phone number, and they sign in. There is no hardware to install. Multi-site rollouts with roles, shifts and KPIs typically run as a pilot in under a week.
Q-06What devices do we need?
Just the phones your team already carries — iOS or Android, phone or tablet. No biometric machine at the gate. Each account is bound to one device, so a punch can't be made from a friend's phone.

Sentrifiq is GPS & NFC attendance and workforce management software for field teams of 10 or more. It brings worksite attendance, task evidence, performance reports and payroll records together. It is designed for teams working across sites, warehouses, routes and retail locations.

Q-09When does Sentrifiq record location?
With location permission, Sentrifiq can record routes during configured working days and recording hours. Recording can run before punch-in or after punch-out. It stops when the recording window ends or you sign out. Attendance and task actions can separately request a location fix. See location permissions.
